Dr Nadine Gardiner (TCM) is passionate about all things periods, mental health and sexual health. With a special focus on managing the symptoms of Pre-menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Pre- Menstrual Exacerbation (PME).

“We shouldn’t have to plan our lives around our periods or our pain. Chinese Medicine has many tools to help us achieve this goal”

Imagine this. You go to the bathroom. Your period has come. You didn’t even realise it was coming. It’s a healthy red colour. No flooding. No clots. No pain. No migraine. No mood swings that make you want to break up with your partner or friends. No crippling anxiety or raging anger. No fatigue so bad you could lay in bed the whole week. Your period has come and you feel … good.

This is my goal.
For our periods to come and go.
For us to feel the natural ebb and flow of our cycles, physically and emotionally.
Without it ruling our lives.

Why I practice TCM Chinese

Chinese Medicine has helped me immensely with my own experiences of Chronic Pain with debilitating migraines, PMDD and Digestive issues. Since I was a teen I have found TCM deeply supportive and healing and it's a pleasure to be able to aid others in their healing.

I have a passion for educating patients so together we can address the root cause of health issues, supporting individuals with tools that can help their body adapt to the ups and downs in life.

As a practitioner, I have a special interest in supporting people with their menstrual health and for those who experience migraine or chronic headaches.

Being a Queer Woman I am also an advocate for Queer Health and love supporting those in my community in a welcome, safe and judgment free space.

Want some tlc with facial acupuncture?

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is such a pleasurable experience. You get the benefits of Acupuncture such as relaxation, reduced stress, and improved circulation, whilst getting glowing, plump skin and reduced fine lines that just makes you feel so damn good whilst ageing gracefully.

I have an issue with something else, can I see you?

Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture work by stimulating various physiological responses, such as promoting circulation, releasing endorphins, and balancing the body's energy flow (Qi) resulting in changes through all major body systems. So yes, although these areas are my areas of focus and interest I love treating the variety of things my patients come in with.

Here are some other areas I see positive results;

  • Menstrual Health: Puberty, PMS/PMDD, Period Pain/Endometriosis, Amenorrhea, Irregular Cycles and Menopause.

  • Chronic and acute pain management and musculoskeletal concerns including Migraine and Headaches.

  • Stress and Burnout

  • Facial acupuncture and healthy ageing

  • Queer fertility prep - regulating cycles and optimizing ovulation so you can inseminate at home or to improve the effectiveness of ART. Improving sperm quality for known donors/ surrogacy

  • Sexual health including; erectile dysfunction, pain or bleeding during sex, vaginismus and low libido

  • Digestive health including; Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea

  • Pregnancy and Post Natal Care
